Welcome aboard, Eric Moore – New health director is appointed

The announcement that a new, permanent director of the Winthrop Health Department is coming on board this Monday is good news for the town. With all of the vital health issues (including the H1N1 flu) on the horizon, it was important to have a person working on these matters and be available to residents at Town Hall.

We know we join with all residents in welcoming our new health director, Eric Moore, to Winthrop and wish him well as he assumes this important position in our community.
